Where do my files go when I use a tool?
Nowhere. The file is read by JavaScript in this tab and the result is written back to your device. There is no upload.
A tool failed on my file. What now?
Most failures come from a damaged or already-encrypted PDF. Try opening it in a reader first. If it opens but the tool still fails, email support with the tool name and browser.
Is there a file size limit?
No fixed limit. Very large files are limited by your device memory, and a phone will give up sooner than a laptop.
