Short version

The online tools do not upload your documents. Files are opened and processed inside your browser, and results are saved directly to your device. We never receive them, so we cannot read, store or share them.

What we do collect

Only what you type into the contact form. If you send us a message we store the name, email address and subject you entered, the message itself, and the IP address it was sent from — the last of these so we can block abuse of the form. It is kept as long as it takes to answer you, and deleted on request.

We do not run a newsletter and do not collect email addresses anywhere else on this site.

App permissions

The mobile app asks for camera access to scan and storage access to save. Cloud sync is off until you turn it on and choose a provider.

Advertising

This site is funded by advertising. Ads are served by Adsterra, which sets its own cookies and may use them, along with your IP address and browser details, to choose which ads to show you. We do not pass your name, email address or any document you open in the tools to Adsterra or to anyone else — the ads are loaded in isolated frames that have no access to your files.

You can block these cookies with any ad blocker or your browser’s tracking protection, and every tool on this site will keep working normally.

Cookies and analytics

We ask on your first visit whether we may use Google Analytics to count page views and see which pages people find useful. Nothing is loaded from Google, and no analytics cookie is set, unless you choose “Accept”. If you decline, no analytics run at all and only your choice is remembered, in your browser’s local storage rather than a cookie.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies to recognise a returning browser, and your IP address is anonymised before it is recorded. To change your mind later, clear this site’s data in your browser and the question will be asked again.

Separately from analytics, local storage is used to remember your tool preferences. The documents you open in the tools are never uploaded and never reach our servers or Google’s.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you. Send the request through the contact form and choose “Privacy request” as the subject. Since the only personal data we hold comes from that form in the first place, a deletion request usually means removing a single message.
